DevOps Engineer

01Role purpose

We are looking for a strong DevOps Engineer with deep, practical experience across the major cloud platforms to build and run our infrastructure. You will own how we deploy and operate our services and ML workloads, set the standard for automation and reliability, and help enable private, VPC-isolated deployments for enterprise customers.

02Key responsibilities

1. 2.1Design, build and operate infrastructure across AWS, GCP and Azure, tuned for performance, reliability and cost.
2. 2.2Own CI/CD pipelines end to end, from build and test through to automated, repeatable deployment.
3. 2.3Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar) and keep environments reproducible and documented.
4. 2.4Containerise and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes, including GPU workloads for model serving.
5. 2.5Stand up monitoring, logging and alerting for observable, dependable systems.
6. 2.6Support private, VPC-isolated enterprise deployments with strong data sovereignty and audit logging.
7. 2.7Partner with the ML team on training and inference workloads, and with security to harden infrastructure.

03Essential

1. 3.1Around 2 to 3 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
2. 3.2Practical, in-depth experience with AWS, GCP and Azure (not just one, and not just theory).
3. 3.3A track record of real-world implementation: pipelines, infrastructure and operations you have built and run.
4. 3.4Strong skills in CI/CD, infrastructure as code and automation.
5. 3.5Solid grasp of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
6. 3.6A deep, first-principles understanding of how systems are built, deployed and kept running.
7. 3.7Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

04Desirable

1. 4.1Hands-on DevOps work supporting AI or ML workloads.
2. 4.2Familiarity with our stack: AWS, GCP and Azure; Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform; Git and GitHub Actions or similar; metrics, logging and alerting stacks.
